Linux Center Belgrade and Internet Society of Serbia - Belgrade will celebrate the One web day by series of lectures starting on Sept 17 and on Sept 22nd. Anglo American School, kids from one orphanage called Zvecanska, Linux Center had a lecture on the Internet and its development. A special emphasis was given to open access resources on the Internet and web accessibility for people with disabilities. The participants at the - Anglo American School had a chat session with Michael Burks from - ICDRI who is Section 508 expert on web accessibility. Mike Burks shared his knowledge on web accessibility support for people with visual, hearing, cognitive and motor disabilities. After discussion the kids decided that they will create a portal for communication with youth from the students' parliaments from city of Loznica and that portal must be accessible for people with disabilities.
