I believe it important that we have consistent branding across our work, from the overall messaging, to the press releases, to the banners to the signage. What is the "sound bite" that people will take away from interacting with our marketing and outreach, from our conversations with potential sponsors and participants? Here are some suggestions:

Celebrating Internet Life

Connecting Offline/Online

The Internet for Your Really Big Decisions

For example, I believe that we should consider an expense item of consistent signage throughout the square. There should be signage at the Square entrances welcoming people to explore the celebration. There could be signage at each booth (consistent theme, but color-coded/icon by experience). And that branding should be on hand-outs, or refrig magnets, etc. that people take away. (On the last item, One Economy can help with establishing a design, finding good pricing and handling ordering.)

Event Ideas: What would a successful event look like? Bring online people together offline. Celebration. Fun. How can people improve their lives with online activities? Healthcare, Banking, Jobs, Communications, Social media - teach people how to use the internet to improve their lives in these areas. Live video streaming - Christopher Ley will check Music, Poetry, Logo, Mascot? - ask for submissions
