The following activities are planned for the One Web Day in Benin Republic

1) Three rooms equipped with connected computers for the students and the public

Two computers rooms will be available in the University of Calavi (15 km from Cotonou). Students will have free access that day especially for those who want to create new accounts.

Another room will be available in Cotonou for the public. Volunteers will help people who are new to the Internet in creating their accounts and using the web.

This activity is a collaboration between ISOC-Benin and "Campus Numerique Francophone" of the University of Calavi

2) Debate on a local TV station

The objective is to discuss on the level of usage of the web in the public administration, private sector and also by individual in the country. The panel will try to come out with recommendations that will increase the web usage in the country.

3)Discount offered by Internet Cafes

We are trying to have the Internet Cafe accross the country give a discount or some free access hours on September 22, 2007.
