Web Teach In

This is an idea based on some of the things we have been doing with BrainJams over the past few months with ideas like 'bring a non-techie friend' and other attempts at mixing up a diverse group of people with the goal of learning form each other and growing together as a community. At our UC Berkeley event back in February, someone reminded us of the "Show. Do. Teach." framework used by medical schools and even Dojo's. When talking to Susan at the SF planning event, it became obvious that this would be a perfect fit with the goals of One Web Day.

To celebrate the Web by going out into the real world and helping others learn to get as much value from it as you do.

The idea is as simple as Susan suggests, but we need some programming help getting the directory together (maybe a project for Google base?), we need some content help in creating the educational materials (as well as some design work) and ultimately the help of everyone whose life has been enriched by the Web to go out into the world and share it with others.
