Boston Brainstorming Event
From OneWebDayWiki
OneWebDay is one day a year when we all - everyone around the physical globe - can celebrate the Web and what it means to us as individuals, organizations, and communities. It is celebrated on September 22 every year, starting in 2006.
Groups and individuals all around the world are coming up with their own ways of celebrating the Web on OneWebDay. We hope the celebrations will affirm Web values in ways that actually advance those values (connection, creativity, collaboration!). Maybe you'll set up a real-world or online clinic to help newbies succeed on the Web (or just learn how to edit a wiki). Maybe you'll collect and post stories to document local history. Maybe you'll post a gallery of online art ("see yourself as a pixel!"). Maybe you'll find and share five new weblogs from around the world. Maybe you'll create a big virtual beachball and bounce it from continent to continent. It really is up to you.
This is going to be a planning party that asks the question: What are you going to do for OneWebDay?
We will also have OneWebDay buttons for you to take & share with friends!
